Terms and Conditions

1. The competition is open to listeners aged 18 years and older.
2. This competition runs from Wednesday, 10 June 2026 to 19 July 2026
3. Employees of YOU FM, sponsors, agencies, and their immediate family members may not enter.
4. The competition will run from the official group draw until the conclusion of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
5. Each listener may represent only one country for the duration of the competition.
6. Countries will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be changed once assigned.
7. Each participating show will be allocated three FIFA World Cup groups through a random draw conducted by YOU FM.
8. A maximum of one listener may represent a country.
9. A listener remains active in the competition for as long as their assigned country remains in the FIFA World Cup tournament.
10. Should a listener’s country be eliminated from the FIFA World Cup, that listener will automatically be eliminated from the competition.
11. If a listener cannot be reached after being selected, YOU FM reserves the right to disqualify the entrant and select an alternate participant.
12. In the event that multiple listeners remain in the competition at the end of the tournament due to exceptional circumstances, YOU FM reserves the right to conduct a final random draw or tiebreaker challenge to determine the winner.
13. The last eligible listener whose country remains in the tournament and ultimately wins the competition will be declared the Grand Prize Winner.
14. The Grand Prize consists of a Big Boost Trolley Dash. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
15. Winners may be required to participate in promotional activities, interviews, photographs, and social media content related to the competition.
16. YOU FM reserves the right to amend the competition rules or cancel the competition should circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.
17. By entering the competition, participants agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions and any decisions made by YOU FM, which shall be final.
18. All FIFA World Cup match results and tournament standings used for the competition will be based on official FIFA results.

Terms and Conditions

1. This competition will run from Monday 02 March 2026 to 18 December 2026
2. The competition is open to listeners aged 18 years and older.
3. Employees of YOU FM, sponsors, affiliated agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
4. The competition will take place during The Midday Boost with Mashél & Kea.
5. To enter, listeners must comment or post using the hashtag #ChallengeAccepted on You Connect.
6. Entries must be submitted before the competition segment closes on the day of play.
7. One entrant will be randomly selected and contacted by Mashél & Kea to participate live on air.
8. Participants must be reachable on the contact details provided. If a selected entrant cannot be reached, YOU FM reserves the right to select an alternative participant.
9. The contestant will have 60 seconds to answer 10 questions based on content discussed during that day’s show from 12PM until the competition segment.
10. Questions will be based solely on information shared on-air during The Midday Boost with Mashél & Kea on the day of the competition.
11. Contestants must answer all 10 questions correctly within the allocated 60 seconds to win.
12. Any unanswered, incorrect, or incomplete answers will result in the contestant forfeiting the prize for that day.
13. The prize will be contained within the Mystery Box and will only be revealed once the contestant successfully completes the challenge.
14. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash unless otherwise determined by YOU FM.
15. Winners may only win the competition once within a 90-day period.
16. Winners may be required to participate in promotional activities, including interviews, photographs, social media content, and other publicity related to the competition.
17. YOU FM reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal value should circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.
18. YOU FM reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice.
19. By entering the competition, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions, and all decisions made by YOU FM regarding the competition shall be final and binding.
20. Privacy and Consent
    By entering this competition, participants acknowledge and agree that YOU FM may process their personal information for the following purposes:
    • Cross-checking and enriching personal information;
    • Consumer database storage and management;
    • Profiling consumers and generating aggregate insights based on such profiling;
    • Developing algorithms for targeted advertising and marketing purposes;
    • Sharing personal information with authorised third parties;
    • Contacting participants with information relating to YOU FM products, services, promotions, and special offers that may be tailored to their interests;
    • Complying with legal and regulatory obligations;
    • Pursuing the legitimate interests of YOU FM or the legitimate interests of authorised third parties to whom such information may be disclosed.
21. Consent to Processing of Personal Information
    Participants consent to the collection, processing, use, recording, and storage of their personal information by YOU FM. This includes the disclosure of personal information to authorised third parties where such processing is necessary for pursuing the legitimate interests of the third party and/or where the third party processes personal information on behalf of YOU FM.
22. Cross-Border Transfer of Personal Information
    Participants acknowledge and agree that, in appropriate circumstances, their personal information may be transferred to and stored in locations outside of South Africa. By entering the competition, participants consent to the transfer, processing, and use of their personal information in such locations in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and applicable data protection laws.
